SehatCare is working with our surgery team to provide free-of-cost general surgeries to the destitute in Pakistan. Patients treated are typically from extremely poverty-stricken families and are unable to afford medical treatment. Discounts offered through this circle of charitable doctors and hospitals, allows your donation to make an even larger impact.
Surgeries include appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, c-sections, and many other life saving procedures.

SehatCare has established its first permanent clinic in a small town, Tando Adam, in Pakistan. Our clinic provides low cost access to primary care and some urgent care to the underprivileged.
The clinic is staffed with a physician, a pharmacist, and a compounder. Patients are charged Rs. 50 (CAD 0.20), if they are able to afford. Patients unable to afford this are treated free of cost. Medications are provided for free as well.
A separate small pharmacy has been set up within the clinic to provide medicines at subsidized costs to the general population.

Medical student volunteers go to socioeconomically disadvantaged communities where they educate families about health, sanitation, and hygiene using a preventative wellness approach. If sufficient funds are allocated to the health education campaign, hygiene essentials are also distributed.
